EDC Breakfast to feature discussion on the business of film

Sarasota, FL (Mar. 26, 2010) --The Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County (EDC) will hold a breakfast, “The Business of Film,” at 7:45 a.m., April 7 at Libby’s Café, 1917 S. Osprey Ave., Sarasota, Fla.

The event will feature a panel discussion about the economic impact of film production in Sarasota County. Panelists are Kathy Jordan, managing director of the Sarasota Film Festival; Jeanne Corcoran, director of the film & entertainment office; Jerry Chambless, vice president and creative director of Sarasota-based Illum Productions; and Bradley Battersby, department head, Digital Film Making at Ringling College of Art & Design.
