Event Description:	Monday evening February 22nd, the Sarasota County Film & Entertainment Office will host its first 2010 mixer of the year, with savvy panelists speaking about the exciting new happenings in entertainment and communication technologies – including: “Social Media” breakthroughs, What’s going on at the Ringling College of Art & Design’s animation department, and The "transformed world" of filmmaking that's been cracked wide open with the technology and tools invented for AVATAR. Experts are saying this may very well be THE new paradigm shift akin to what STAR WARS did in the late 70's with the Cray supercomputer, PIXAR did to the 3-D landscape in the mid-80's, THE MATRIX did in the late 90's... But experts are also saying this time, it's not just sci-fi...not just 3-D... not just animation... but will now affect filmmaking of all kinds from this point forward. What do you think?
